THE BOSTON LAWYERS GROUP
2008 MENTOR PROGRAM
The Boston Lawyers Group (BLG) is pleased to announce the 2008 Mentor Program for students of color, who attend Boston area law schools. The Program offers first and second year law students an exciting opportunity to be mentored by a practicing attorney from a BLG participating member organization.
The Program is limited to a total of 100 first and second year law students of color, who attend the following law schools; Boston College Law School, Boston University School of Law, Harvard Law School, Massachusetts School of Law, New England School of Law, Northeastern University School of Law, Suffolk University Law School and Western New England College School of Law. We will consider applications for the 100 available slots on a first come, first served basis.
Students are advised to complete the Mentee/Student application and forward it to the BLG in advance of the March 3, 2008 deadline. They can e-mail the completed application to me at sbryan@sandw.com, or register online at http://www.thebostonlawyersgroup.com/.
Students will receive a formal invitation to the Kick-Off Event, along with confirmation of their acceptance into the program by Friday, March 14, 2008. In the meantime, they should mark their calendar - The Mentor Program Kick-Off Event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 5:30 p.m., at Goodwin Procter LLP. Students will meet their mentor during the Kick-Off Event. They are required to attend the Event, in order to participate in the Mentor Program.
