Some interesting things going on this week. Not all LALSA related, but still interesting.1) Brown Bag Lunch: today 12:30pm in EW 2002) Maxed Out: today 3:30pm EW 115A3) Salsa Mixer4) Chinese New Year celebration with APALSABrown Bag Lunch As mentioned by Dean Garvey in his State of the School address, the school has planned a brown bag lunch with Associate Dean Marianne Lord Today, February 5 from 12:30-1:30 in EW 200. The brown bag is similar to the one we had last fall to explain the appointments process. Drinks and dessert will be provided. Dean Wylie

The Community Economic Development Law Group and the American Constitution Society will be hosting a screening of Maxed Out (http://www.maxedoutmovie.com/), an award winning documentary about the credit industry and consumer debt in the United States. Prof. Hillinger will be introducing the movie and cookies, snacks, and hot cocoa will be served.

APALSA is celebrating the Chinese New Year with a dinner downtown and ice skating on Frog Pond to follow!
