Brought to you by LALSA:

  1. LALSA General Body Meeting/ Spanish for Lawyers Workshop: Tuesday, February 9th from 12:30-1:30pm in EW 100. Your E-Board has been working hard this semester, so come find out what LALSA is up to and enjoy lunch on us! After some announcements and sign-ups we’ll be going straight into our Spanish for Lawyers Workshop! This will be a good chance to practice your Spanish skills, learn some legal vocabulary, and get some tips for working with Latino clients. This will be especially helpful to anyone going on the Spring Break Immigration Service Trip.
  2. LALSA T-Shirts: Shirts are available for those that ordered them at the last General Body Meeting. Shirts are $8 each. They will be available for payment / pick up at the next General Body Meeting, or else email Yliana for your T-shirt if you ordered one and can’t make it on Tuesday.
  3. March is DIVERSITY MONTH: All the ALSAs and LSA Diversity Committee have a lot of things in the works for March. LALSA will be hosting a Documentary Screening, and Guest Speaker, encouraging faculty to pledge to discuss issues of diversity in their classes during March, facilitating a Diversity Roundtable Discussion and participating in the annual Taste of Diversity event. We’re also planning another LALSA Potluck this month, which means lots of food, drinks, and dancing - so don’t miss out!!!
  4. Recruiting Latino Admitted Students: As we have in the past LALSA will be inviting admitted students to come visit BC Law for the Open House on March 26th. We will need volunteers to make phone calls to admitted students, and to offer to host a student for that weekend. We’ll also be planning some social events for admitted students to meet current students and see a little bit of Boston that weekend. If you’d like to take a bigger role in this process please sign up at the General Body Meeting.
  5. LALSA Facebook Group – Join our Group! There are tons of great links to national organizations and information about scholarships, internships, and clerkships, so don’t miss out! http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=2343024074&ref=ts

Great post and informative. Finding the right airplane accident attorneys is very important when you need to deal with a law situation.
